Patricia A. Ripple Obituary – Massillon Independent

Patricia A. Ripple, age 95, of Massillon, handed away following a short interval of declining well being on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Amherst Meadows Assisted Dwelling.

She was born August 10, 1926, in Massillon the daughter of the late Roy and Kathryn (Good) Hillyer.

Patricia was an completed and well-known watercolor artist who’s works are in native companies and personal collections. She taught many native artwork courses through the years and continued to show artwork till age 95. She was a member of the Ohio Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society, Whiskey Painters of America, Massillon Museum, Canton Museum, a constitution member of the Canton Artists League, Massillon Lady’s Membership and First United Methodist Church.

Patricia is survived by daughters, Deborah Ok. (Thomas E.) Liggett, Jody A. (Daniel) Snively; son, Kevin S. (Lori) Ripple; 9 grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a number of other nieces and nephews.

Along with her dad and mom, she was preceded in demise by her husband, John B. Ripple who died in 2009, sisters, Carmen Finley and Kathryn R. Kiefer; brother, Leroy P. Turner, and one niece.

Funeral service will probably be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Dwelling – Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon with Rev. Les Peine officiating.

Calling hours will probably be held on the funeral dwelling previous to the service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. DUE TO FAMILY HEALTH CONDITIONS, ALL GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK.

Her last place of relaxation will probably be Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
