A intelligent play on how sound emanates from a supply like ripples from a single level, the Ripple Turntable turns audio waves into literal waves, with its floor therapy. The pristine white turntable comes with a rippled floor, with waves emanating from the spindle on the middle of the platter, in addition to from the origin of the swing-arm, and intersecting within the center to create that good little bit of visible drama.
The complete turntable is white, with the swing-arm including a gold accent to it, and the vinyl disc itself bringing a little bit of black to the combination. Though conceptual, the turntable’s visible experiment is attention-grabbing, to say the least. Most turntables are both designed to look retro, or over-the-top luxurious. The Ripple, nonetheless, is a deviation from the norm, with a design that’s minimal, quirky, and has a terrific sculptural high quality that lends superbly to Scandinavian or Japanese dwelling decor kinds!
